Advertising profile
What company information is included in an advertising profile?
Each advertising profile features a 750-word company description, your company logo, banner ad copy, contact information and up to three unique website links.
How do I load or update my profile?
Please log into your account with your user name and password. Click on the "Ad Copy" tab. You are able to enter your company profile information or make edits to your current profile. The profile section is limited to approximately 750 words. When you have finalized your profile information, press update to save the information. In order to see the changes, you will have to open a new browser to see the new profile. The profile section provides you with an opportunity to communicate a compelling value proposition to directory visitors.
How do I upload or change my logo?
Our directories allocate a 100x50 pixel space for a logo in a JPG format. If you need to edit your logo, you can use an editing program, such as Photoshop, Infranview or MS Paint. After your logo is sized to fit the requirements, make sure to save it as a JPG file by selecting "save as" in the file menu and then changing the "file type” to JPG or GIF.
How do I update my website link?
Please log into your account using your user name and password. Click on the "Ad Copy" tab and you will see a section for your website address. Please add or modify your URL link to the appropriate web page.
How do I set up a landing page so I can track the click-throughs on my end?
You can track your business directory results by adding "?referrer=directorym" at the end of your URL. For example, if your normal destination URL is "http://www.yourcompany.com/products". Simply turn that into "http://www.yourcompany.com/products?referrer=directorym". If you have multiple listings with DirectoryM, you can set the source to refer to each individual campaign enabling you to uniquely identify the campaign from which the visitor came. The click-through information will match the information that you find in the DirectoryM Campaign Center.

How do I access my account?

I entered my username and password. Why am I unable to login?
The username and password are distributed to you in your welcome letter immediately after you subscribe to the service. Your username and password are case sensitive. If you have forgotten your password, please submit your email address in the designated space and press enter. You will receive an email indicating your correct username and password. If you continue to have issues, please contact the customer service department.
How do I change my username and password?
Click on advertiser login to access your account using your current username and password. Click on the "contact info" tab and you will see a section for your user name and password. Please add or modify your username and password in the fields provided.
How do I report bugs or errors?
If you find a bug or error in the system, please contact our customer service team using our contact us page.
Which browsers are supported within the business directories?
DirectoryM supports a broad range of Internet browsers, reaching approximately 95% of all Internet users. A few browsers are not supported by DirectoryM, including Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh. This browser is no longer developed by Microsoft (see Microsoft's Mac browser FAQs for more information). DirectoryM recommends using Apple's Safari 2.0 browser with the service.

Campaign center
What is the campaign center?
The campaign center provides advertisers with campaign results on their directory advertisements. Results for each listing include Impressions and Clicks. To learn more, simply click on the advertiser login provided to view your advertising campaign center, contact our customer service team by using the contact us page or call us at 866.315.9389.
How do inquiries become qualified?
Qualified inquiries are pre-screened for sufficient contact information (e.g., a phone number on valid email address). We will not qualify leads where companies are trying to sell their services, situations where people are seeking employment, or simply testing out the service. You will receive email notification informing you that you have qualified inquiries in your Campaign Center.
Unqualified leads are inquiries that don't meet the above criteria. We provide you with the flexibility of looking at the unqualified inquiries along with the capability of separating out the inquiries.
What if the lead is spam?
Our directory inquiry forms are subject to a moderate amount of spam traffic. Screening the emails filters out most of the spam, but some spam still gets through. If a customer receives spam, they can mark the lead inactive. DirectoryM is monitoring the quantity of spam inquiries across the advertising network and plans to implement a spam reporting solution in the coming months.
Why am I not receiving email notifications for the leads in my account?
You will be informed of inquiries via email from leads@directorym.com. Please check the spam filter on your email account since it may be blocking the notification emails. If you continue to have issues, please contact our customer service team by using the contact us page or calling 866.315.9389.
